Karolina is an award-winning Polish folk singer and multi-instrumentalist from South-Eastern Poland, now based in the UK. Raised in a family of traditional folk dancers, she blends powerful upbeat Eastern European tunes with heartfelt rawness and storytelling to create a sense of shared cultural heritage.

Debut Album

Karolina is proud to present her debut album,‘Oy Vesna Krasna’, a captivating blend of neofolk and traditional Eastern European sounds. Her music is a joyful journey of folk songs collected from Poland, Macedonia, Ukraine and the Carpatho-Rusin people. The title, meaning “Oh, Beautiful Spring” in several Slavonic languages captures the essence of the album—celebrating the changing seasons, love, loss, and the rich tapestry of customs that define Karolina’s heritage. Through this album, she honours her family’s traditions and expresses her deep gratitude for the opportunity to share them with the world.

Singing and dancing workshops

I offer education in Eastern European folk culture as well as wellbeing and corporate team-building workshops accessible to people of all ages, nationalities and genders.

Dance workshops

Many songs and dances were passed down to me by my grandmother, who taught generations of people in my native village of Ujezna the local folk traditions. Today, I’m incredibly proud and excited to share these simple group dances that bring joy and laughter. No experience or special shoes are needed to join in—everyone is welcome regardless of age, gender, nationality or religion. The most important thing is to enjoy being together and to laugh, especially when things don’t go quite as planned.

Singing workshops

I focus on an ancient Slavic singing style often called white voice or scream-singing. It’s a very open, powerful way of singing that many people find therapeutic and liberating, as it helps release muscle tension, regulate stress levels, and brings us closer to the harmony of nature. In many Slavic cultures, this style is recognised by UNESCO as part of their intangible cultural heritage. I love helping people find this kind of voice within themselves and sharing the stories behind these beautiful folk songs, which often speak about everyday issues we still experience today.
